Emma

Emma is a long time wine lover and by some turn of good fortune managed to turn her passion into her career.

She qualified as a Master of Wine in 2017, the qualification known to be the toughest in the wine world. Want to annoy her? Ask if that’s the same as being a sommelier! (It’s not). As her day job she’s a wine buyer at Berkmann Wine Cellars one of the UK’s largest wine importers. She was previously a buyer at Marks and Spencer for nine years. Any view she expresses on 52 grapes are entirely her own, and not those of her employer.

Andy

Andy is a long time booze enthusiast with a spirits cabinet to rival Emma’s wine collection, due to an unhealthy habit of not being able to ignore a duty free deal. Yes, I do need another litre of Tanqueray, it’s only 12 quid!

Last year Andy completed his WSET level 2 with distinction, something he is convinced now makes him a wine expert. Emma is not so sure.
